Chief Gary Potts

Mother nature determined long a ago
that we should live and die and be born
through the ages of ice, water, land and snow
In the echoes of our Mother’s birth cry
we have continued to grow.

From the structure of our universal womb.
we gaze out into the universe
through our window pane of air.
And I wonder, will we become a universal tomb?

The languages of non human and plant life
flow in the concert with our Mother’s soul.
The stone is our Mother’s bone
the soil is our Mother’s flesh
the lava is our Mother’s marrow.
the sun is our Mother’s unviersal touchstone.
the moon is our Mother’s rhythm maker.

Ub 1990, as it left our solar system, Voyager II
sent back a picture of us, a dot of blue,
the color of peace in infinity
It is not beyond the grasp of reality
to promise our Mother Nature Life in perpetuity.

About kiwihighlander

I was born in New Zealand (Kiwi) I do not necessarily agree with or endorse all of the views presented here. This is a learning curve! I have a wide range of interesting trivia or facts on a variety of topics with-in this blog, also like to show a presentation of some of my photography & art. Hope your day has been kind :-)
